Teaching Assistant

Smart Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Hammersmith

About the role

• Role is working with a pupil who has ASD
• Pupil is described as academically engaged but behaviour can be challenging
• Classroom support, ensuring pupil stays focused and is accessing the curriculum
• Starts in September and will be for the academic year
• Monday - Friday, hours are 9am-1pm

• School are looking for someone who can set clear boundaries for the pupil and be firm when needeD
• Good culture for staff at the school, many agency staff often go on to stay at the school

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:

• Have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Must have personal or professional experience with ASD
