SEN Teaching assistant, 1-2-1 Support with pupil with Autism
3 Positions available across KS1 and KS2, your preference will be considered

About the role
A primary school in Tower Hamlets are looking for 3 SEN Teaching assistants to join them on a full time basis working 1-2-1 in a classroom with pupils with Autism.
The 3 positions are across Key stage 1 and Key stage 2 and therefore your preference on year group will be considered with the school
As a SEN TA, your responsibilities will include-
- Supporting the pupil in the classroom with their work while working alongside the class teacher
- Providing emotional and social support where needed
- Identifying the pupils needs, and providing support to the pupil based off of these needs
- Working alongside the SENCO and class teacher ensuring the pupil is receiving all support needed and monitoring pupils progress

The school was rated 'Good' in their latest Ofsted report. The school are looking for TA's who have a strong passion for education and supporting pupils with special needs.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of 1-2-1 SEN Teaching assistant you will:
- Have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Prior experience working as a TA. To qualify for higher end pay rate you will have strong experience working with children with SEN in an education setting with relevant qualifications
Key responsibilities
As 1-2-1 SEN Teaching assistant you will be responsible for:
- Support the pupil where needed while working alongside the class teacher
