Are you an experienced ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Tutor seeking to transition into a primary school setting? We are a primary school in Newham and are looking for a skilled and passionate ABA Tutor to join our team and support our students in their learning and development journey.
About the role
As an ABA Tutor, you will apply your expertise in ABA strategies to support students with autism and other special educational needs within the mainstream primary school environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing ABA strategies to support individual student needs and behavior plans.
- Collaborating with teachers, the SENCO, and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitoring and reporting on student progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Assisting in the development and delivery of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Supporting students in developing social, communication, and academic skills.
- Contributing to a positive and supportive atmosphere within the school.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of ABA Tutor you will:
- A relevant qualification in ABA, psychology, education, or a related field
- Experience working with children with autism and other special educational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity within the school environment
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Proven experience as an ABA Tutor, with a strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques
