The School and Role
I'm recruiting on behalf of an excellent Special Needs School based in Barking,East London a short walk from Barking Riverside Station. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant with relevant experience to support pupils with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder).
The working environment here is one of outstanding support, team work, and a common goal in mind; providing a quality learning environment for their pupils. The School enable their pupils to gain the skills, confidence and opportunities needed to progress to employment, meaningful voluntary opportunities and training.
The School is a Special Academy for students with complex, low incidence special educational needs. They are a well-established and very experienced local provider of quality specialised education provision and cater for young people with complex conditions.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of ASC Teaching Assistant you will:
- Experience working with children with SEN needs
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- DBS on the update service
