Graduate Teaching Assistant

Smart Teachers are looking for graduates who have a passion for children and are looking to take their first step into a career in education to join us working as a Teaching Assistant.

About the role

Day to day cover, part time and full time roles available

The hours are 8:30-4pm Monday-Friday

You will be required to work in mainstream primary schools within the East London

Your role includes:

• Supporting pupils across all year groups with their work
• Carry out 1-2-1 and small group sessions
• Provide general teacher support to the class teacher.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Graduate Teaching Assistant you will:

• Have the ability to support children in a 1:1 and group settings
• Have a DBS on the updated service or be able to apply for this

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• A degree
• Previous work experience as a TA is desireable
