We are seeking a committed, proactive and student-focused SEND Deputy Head of Year to support Sixth Form learners within a thriving secondary academy environment.
About the role
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Year, pastoral teams, and the SENCO to support students with a range of needs, including EHCPs, SEN Support, and those requiring additional pastoral intervention. A key part of the role will also include supervising Sixth Form independent study and promoting high standards of engagement and conduct.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Deputy Head of Year you will:
- Degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience working with Sixth Form students
- Ability to build positive relationships and act as a role model
- A flexible, supportive and proactive approach
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable SEND experience
