Smart Teachers are recruiting for a professional and proactive Sixth Form Study Centre Supervisor to join a high-performing secondary school and sixth form in East London.
About the role
- Supervising students within designated study areas, maintaining a calm and focused environment
- Monitoring attendance, punctuality, and engagement within the study centre
- Supporting students in developing effective study skills, organisation, and time management
- Promoting independent learning and positive academic habits
- Recording and tracking student behaviour, engagement, and progress
- Liaising with sixth form leaders, staff, and parents where required
- Supporting wider sixth form activities, events, and pastoral systems

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Sixth Form Study Centre Supervisor you will:
- Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or post-16 setting
- Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships and model high expectations
- Confident using data and school systems to track student engagement
- Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) with good literacy and numeracy skills
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable post 16 experience
