We are seeking a talented and passionate Drama Teacher to join our successful and vibrant school in Haringey. This role involves teaching Drama at both GCSE and A-Level, with the opportunity to lead exciting extracurricular activities, including school performances and theatre trips
About the role
As a Drama Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative education of students from Key Stage 3 to A-Level. You will deliver inspiring lessons that engage students in performance, directing, and the theoretical aspects of drama, encouraging them to develop confidence, teamwork, and creativity.
In this role, you will also have the opportunity to lead and coordinate school drama productions, extracurricular clubs, and theatre trips. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the arts and English departments to create cross-curricular projects that enhance students' learning experience.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Drama Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification that allows you to teach in the UK.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching Drama at secondary level (KS3-KS5) is preferred. Newly qualified teachers with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply
- Commitment to Extracurricular Activities: Willingness to lead and support school performances, drama clubs, and other extracurricular activities
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible and inspiring way
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a minimum of one year working within a mainstream secondary school
Key responsibilities
As Drama Teacher you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and directing school plays and performances
- Teaching Drama across KS3, KS4, and A-Level
- Providing feedback to students and parents to monitor progress
- Participating in professional development and collaborative projects within the school?
