We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join our early years team. The successful candidate will support children with a range of special educational needs.
About the role
You will be working 1:1 or with small groups to deliver targeted interventions and personalised learning activities.
Help develop children’s communication skills, using visual aids, modelling language, or specialist tools as required.
Contribute to the daily routines of the Early Years setting, including setup, transitions, and tidy-up tasks.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Good organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate observations and records.
- Experience supporting children with special educational needs
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with teachers, the SENDCo, parents, and external professionals.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience with SEN needs
Key responsibilities
As EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Help children develop independence, confidence, and strong relationships with peers.
- Support children with behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing using consistent strategies and positive reinforcement.
