We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our primary school in Kensington and Chelsea. You will provide targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
About the role
You will be required to provide one-to-one or small-group support for pupils with SEND, including learning, behavioural, or communication needs.
Assist teachers in adapting lessons and resources to meet the needs of individual pupils.
Assist in managing transitions, routines, and break/lunchtime supervision for SEN pupils.
Follow safeguarding procedures and uphold all school policies consistently.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children with SEND in a primary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Key responsibilities
As Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Support pupils with a range of learning, behavioural, or physical needs in the classroom and beyond.
- Assist in preparing specialist resources or adaptations for SEN pupils.
- Collaborate with the SENCO, teachers, and external specialists to ensure effective pupil support.
