We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our warm and supportive primary school community from January 2026.
About the role
As a Level 3 EYFS TA, you will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children’s developmental needs. You will help create a stimulating and safe environment, contribute to observations and assessments, and provide targeted support to individual pupils. This role is ideal for someone who is confident, nurturing and fully committed to high-quality early years practice.
Key Responsibilities

Support high-quality teaching and learning across the EYFS, following the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

Use your Level 3 early years qualification to deliver effective, developmentally appropriate support.

Assist with observations, assessments and tailored learning opportunities.

Foster positive relationships with children, staff and families.

Help maintain a safe, organised and engaging indoor and outdoor learning environment.

Contribute to the wider life of the EYFS team and uphold the school’s values and expectations.
We Are Looking For

A Level 3 qualified Early Years practitioner (this qualification is essential).

Someone with strong knowledge of child development and EYFS best practice.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Level 3 Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one
- Be able to work Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:00
- Level 3 qualified TA
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
