Smart Teachers is recruiting qualified Secondary Teachers (QTS) for daily supply roles in Croydon (CR2). Our partner schools are seeking adaptable teachers with strong behaviour management who live locally and can reach schools within 30–45 minutes for same-day bookings.

We work with a range of welcoming and well-led secondary schools across Croydon (CR2), offering regular supply work throughout the academic year. Schools have supportive leadership teams, excellent behaviour policies, and one of our partner schools also offers free on-site parking.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of General Cover Teacher - Croydon you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
- Be confident delivering lessons and adapting to different subjects where required.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management.
- Be professional, reliable and flexible.
- Ideally live within easy travelling distance of CR2 to accommodate same-day bookings.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent UK secondary teaching experience.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
