Smart Teachers is currently recruiting for a History Teacher at a co-educational independent school in the London Borough of Bromley.

This History Teacher position is required for September and the successful candidate will be required to work full time.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of History Teacher (Secondary) you will:
- • Has Qualified Teacher Status
- • Can plan and prepare lessons to a high standard, using a variety of delivery methods in order to facilitate student learning
- • Can set and mark work, including homework in accordance with the school Marking and Feedback Policy
- • Can create a supportive learning environment whereby all students have the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
- • Is able to assess, record and report on students’ progress and attainment, whilst maintaining accurate and appropriate records
- • Is confident in preparing students for examinations, both internal and external, including the recording of accurate data
- • Can manage behaviour appropriately in line with the School Behaviour Policy.
- • Has high expectations from all students throughout lessons
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree (QTS)
