About the school
A school in Barking are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant to help their pupils. The students at the school have a mixed ability so the LSA will need to differentiate the work load accordingly.
The students at the school make good and occasionally ‘outstanding’ progress as noted by the Ofsted report. They have a desire to learn and a teaching assistant would be ideal in aiding and inspiring them to reach their full potential. The school has an ethos with emphasis on traditional values such as smart uniform, strong discipline and good manners. They deliver this ethos with modern teaching methods and state of the art technology.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:
- Have previous experience working in schools
- Have a strong English and maths ability, able to assist students of varying ability
- Be able to communicate clearly with a firm but calm tone
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience working in primary schools
