Smart Teachers is working in partnership with Transport for London (TfL) to recruit a committed and organised Project Administrator to support their high-impact Project Guardian initiative.
About the role
Project Guardian is a TfL-led initiative designed to increase awareness of sexual harassment on public transport among young people. The programme delivers face-to-face sessions in schools (particularly Year 9), training for staff, workshops, and multi-agency partnership work. Its aim is prevention: empowering students, teachers, and transport users to understand their rights, know how to respond, and help create safer, more respectful journeys.

The Project Guardian team works within TfL’s safeguarding and community engagement arm, collaborating closely with schools, police partners, and public service organisations. The initiative focuses on raising awareness of sexual harassment on public transport and empowering young people to stay safe, speak up, and understand their rights. Requirements
To be considered for the role of Safeguarding Administrator you will:
- Delivering high-quality administrative support across the Project Guardian programme
- Coordinating training sessions, workshops, and meetings with schools, safeguarding teams, and transport partners
- Managing calendars, communications, documents, and accurate data entry
- Maintaining records, tracking attendance, collating feedback, and assisting with reporting for compliance and evaluation
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable administrator experience
