About the role

Project Guardian is a TfL-led initiative designed to increase awareness of sexual harassment on public transport among young people. The programme delivers face-to-face sessions in schools (particularly Year 9), training for staff, workshops, and multi-agency partnership work. Its aim is prevention: empowering students, teachers, and transport users to understand their rights, know how to respond, and help create safer, more respectful journeys.

About the school

The Project Guardian team works within TfL’s safeguarding and community engagement arm, collaborating closely with schools, police partners, and public service organisations. The initiative focuses on raising awareness of sexual harassment on public transport and empowering young people to stay safe, speak up, and understand their rights. Joining this team means contributing to meaningful, city-wide work with real impact, in a professional environment that values collaboration, public service, and social responsibility
