About the role
A primary school in Hackney are looking for an SEN Teaching assistant to support a pupil with autism on a 1-2-1 basis.
Your roles will include-
-Working on a 1:1 basis with the pupil, supporting them with their learning
-Supporting the pupils emotional and social needs
-Monitoring the pupils progress and communicating this with the class teacher
-Identifying the pupils needs throughout the day
-Working alongside the teacher providing support where needed throughout the day

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN TA KS1, Hackney you will:
- Have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Prior experience working with children with SEN
Key responsibilities
As SEN TA KS1, Hackney you will be responsible for:
- Support the pupil throughout the day, understanding their needs and working alongside the teacher
