We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sixth Form Pastoral Mentor to join our successful and supportive sixth form team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to promoting student wellbeing, supporting personal development, and helping young people achieve their full potential.
About the role
As a Sixth Form Pastoral Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting students' emotional health, welfare, attendance, engagement, and overall progress. You will build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and external agencies, ensuring that students receive the guidance and support they need to succeed.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Sixth Form Pastoral Mentor you will:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with young people.
- Empathy, patience, and understanding when supporting students with a range of needs.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
- A willingness to learn and develop skills related to student welfare and pastoral support.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable pastoral experience
