Smart Teachers is recruiting on behalf of an excellent mainstream secondary school based in Redbridge. We’re looking for a SEN TA with relevant experience to support pupils with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder).
About the role
- Teaching Assistants are required to join an 'Good' school in Redbridge in September 2024
- Teaching Assistants are required to join the schools on site SEN Unit, working across either KS3 or KS4
- Teaching Assistants will be required to support individuals and small groups
- Full time role, hours 08:00-15:30pm

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Special Needs Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have a passion to teach outside of a mainstream environment, and a commitment to experience the unique opportunities of a special school
- Have a kind, caring, and compassionate nature which is used to plan and deliver inclusive, fun, and inspiring lessons
- Have experience with pupils with ASD
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- 6 weeks worth of teaching experience
