About the role
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Science teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience and departmental needs. You will work collaboratively within a well-resourced Science department to plan engaging lessons, develop curriculum resources, and support student progress and achievement.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teacher of Science you will:
- Have sound subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Have a positive, proactive, and reflective approach to teaching
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- QTS or progressing towards QTS
Key responsibilities
As Teacher of Science you will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured Science lessons
- Maintaining a safe, positive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Supporting practical work, experiments, and enrichment opportunities
