Smart Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant who can support a pupil in Year 4 who has ASD
About the role
- Provide 1:1 support during lessons and other school activities
- Pupil has ASD and is described as being academically engaged but can display challenging behaviour
- Implement and adapt learning activities to meet the student's individual needs
- Role starts in September and will be continuous

- 2 form entry school in Fulham
- Supportive SENCO who will provide the best environment for both you and the pupil
- School provides additional training and has external professional support for pupils with SEN
- Possibility of a permanent contract after the first academic year
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
- Passion for inclusion
- Ability to remain calm and resilient during challenging situations
- Strong communication skills
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Have personal or professional experience working with ASD
