A supportive and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, offering flexibility for the right candidate.
About the role
You will provide one-to-one support for a pupil with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and fully engage in classroom activities. The role will involve working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored strategies that support both learning and behaviour.
You will play a key role in promoting confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing, ensuring the pupil feels supported throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
- Supporting learning activities and classroom engagement
- Implementing individual support plans and strategies
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Working closely with teaching staff and SENCo
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback

Requirements
To be considered for the role of 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will:
- Previous experience working in a primary school (preferred)
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN (desirable)
- Patient, calm, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
