A friendly and inclusive primary school in Romford is seeking a qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a full-time basis from September 2026 for the full academic year.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will support teaching and learning within Nursery or Reception, helping children develop key early learning skills through a combination of structured activities and play-based learning. You will work closely with the class teacher to create an engaging, safe, and stimulating environment where children can flourish.
The successful candidate will be passionate about Early Years education and confident supporting children across all areas of development.

- Supporting the delivery of engaging EYFS learning activities
- Working with individuals and small groups of children

Requirements
To be considered for the role of EYFS Teaching Assistant you will:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working within an EYFS setting
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Years of previous experience
- Right to work in the UK
