Maths Supply Teacher

Smart Teachers is working in partnership with a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in East London to recruit an enthusiastic Maths Supply Teacher for an ongoing role, working four days per week.

About the role

• Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons that inspire confidence and achievement.
• Assess, monitor and support student progress.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.
• Work collaboratively with the established Maths department.

About the school

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive Mathematics department where you will teach motivated students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role is expected to continue on an ongoing basis, offering consistency and the chance to become an integral part of the school community.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Maths Supply Teacher you will:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching Mathematics within UK secondary schools
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and strong subject knowledge
• Is adaptable, reliable and committed to achieving the best outcomes for students

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
