English Teacher

Smart Teachers are currently working with a highly regarded secondary school in North London who are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher of English to join their team on a long-term cover basis.

About the role

• Full-time teaching role, Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8:30am – 3:10pm
• Delivering English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Working as part of a dedicated and collaborative English department

Requirements

To be considered for the role of English Teacher you will:

• Hold QTS (applications without QTS will not be considered)
• Have a valid Enhanced DBS
• Provide a minimum of two satisfactory references
• Complete all required safeguarding and compliance checks
• Be available to start in September 2026

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
