Smart Teachers are currently working with a highly regarded secondary school in North London who are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher of English to join their team on a long-term cover basis.
About the role
- Full-time teaching role, Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:30am – 3:10pm
- Delivering English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Working as part of a dedicated and collaborative English department

Requirements
To be considered for the role of English Teacher you will:
- Hold QTS (applications without QTS will not be considered)
- Have a valid Enhanced DBS
- Provide a minimum of two satisfactory references
- Complete all required safeguarding and compliance checks
- Be available to start in September 2026
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
