This is an independent prep school in Clapham that has adopted a selfless and an innovative culture. They are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join their dynamic faculty in September 2024, on a full-time basis
About the role
Working within this Independent Prep school will require you to inspire and engage students in the education of Mathematics, fostering a love for learning and achievement. As part of an established team, the desired Maths Teacher will be required to teach up to KS2-3.

To be considered for the role of Maths Teacher you will:

- A passion for progress for the pupils
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- qualified KS2 teacher (with the ability to teach Maths to Year 7 and 8 pupils)
- KS3 specialist
Key responsibilities
As Maths Teacher you will be responsible for:
- To teach Maths to Years 5 to 8.
- To promote high quality teaching and learning, providing clear structures for lessons which maintain pace, motivation and challenge.
- To set high expectations for pupil behaviour, establishing and maintaining a good standard of discipline within an optimistic environment where well focused teaching and positive, productive relationships are the norm.
