Smart Teachers is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in East London (Redbridge borough), seeking a passionate and committed PE Teacher to join their successful department on a part-time (0.8) maternity cover basis from September 2025
About the role
The Role:

Teach PE across KS3 and KS4, including delivery of GCSE PE

0.8 timetable (4 days a week or flexible across 5 days)

Contribute to a curriculum aligned with a whole-school framework focused on ambition and personal development

Fixed-term maternity cover until February 2026

Requirements
To be considered for the role of PE Teacher you will:
- Hold QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
- Have experience teaching PE in secondary schools, including examination PE
- Be a reflective practitioner committed to their own growth and the progress of their students
- Be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
