Smart Teachers is looking to appoint a 1:1 teaching assistant to support a young girl in reception with ASD and ADHD.
About the role
- The role will be supporting the child throughout the day in class and out of class activities
- Role is to start in September with trials/interviews this week.
- Teaching Assistant required to support across the school
- Successful Teaching Assistant will work alongside teacher and other highly skilled Teaching Assistants to provide academic and social support
- Previous experience working with pupils with ASD/ADHD is essential, student has previously responded better to male Learning Support Assistants.
- All experienced SEN Teaching Assistants encouraged to apply

The mainstream primary school is located in the heart of Clapham just a short walk from Clapham Common tube station.

Working along side dedicated SENCO with over 10 years experience in the role.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of 1:1 SEN TA - Clapham you will:
- Hold enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Previous experience working with pupils with SEN is desirable
