1:1 SEN TA - Clapham

Smart Teachers is looking to appoint a 1:1 teaching assistant to support a young girl in reception with ASD and ADHD.

About the role

• The role will be supporting the child throughout the day in class and out of class activities
• Role is to start in September with trials/interviews this week.
• Teaching Assistant required to support across the school
• Successful Teaching Assistant will work alongside teacher and other highly skilled Teaching Assistants to provide academic and social support
• Previous experience working with pupils with ASD/ADHD is essential, student has previously responded better to male Learning Support Assistants.
• All experienced SEN Teaching Assistants encouraged to apply

The mainstream primary school is located in the heart of Clapham just a short walk from Clapham Common tube station.

The school are constantly looking to work with staff who share the same passion they have for education and the pupils within the school.

Working along side dedicated SENCO with over 10 years experience in the role.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of 1:1 SEN TA - Clapham you will:

• Hold enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Previous experience working with pupils with SEN is desirable
