Smart Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a large primary school in Wembley from Jan 2025.
About the role
- Teaching Assistant required to support a pupil in Reception who has a diagnosis of ASD.
- Full time from from Jan to July 2025 initially with a good chance of re-employment in September 2025.
- Provide one-on-one support to the child, helping them engage with the curriculum and develop essential skills.
- Assist in creating and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the teaching staff.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and independence.
- Monitor and record the child’s progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and parents as necessary.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
- Previous experience working with pupils with ASD is desirable
- A sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Hold an enhanced DBS
