Year 1 and 3 Teaching Assistant needed to work in a mainstream Primary School in Hackney, a short walk from Clapton station.
This is a Full time role Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:00 until at least the end of the academic year.
- Excellent rates are paid weekly using Pay As You Earn (PAYE), we do NOT use any umbrella companies
About the role
A mainstream primary school in Clapton is looking to a appoint two Teaching assistants to join their Year 3 class and Year 1 class on a full time basis, hours are 08:30 - 16:00
You responsibilities will include-
-Supporting the class teacher where and when needed in the classroom
-Working with children both 1-2-1 and in small groups
-Supporting pupils with Special educational needs in the classroom
-Working collaboratively with class teachers and other support staff
-Assist with school trips and preparing resources for lessons
-Supporting class teachers with challenging behaviour if needed

You will be joining settled classrooms, with experienced teachers in both classrooms.
You should be passionate, confident in your ability working with children, be able to support special education needs and have be able to work well in a team
Requirements
To be considered for the role of KS1 Teaching assistants you will:
- Have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Prior experience working with children in a educational setting
Key responsibilities
As KS1 Teaching assistants you will be responsible for:
- Provide support to the teacher and assist pupils with their learning
