Smart Teachers are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Art and Design to join a thriving secondary school in East London.

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Art and Design lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, helping students develop practical skills, creative thinking, and a strong appreciation of the subject. Requirements

To be considered for the role of Art Teacher you will:

  • Teaching Art and Design across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Planning and delivering creative, engaging, and challenging lessons
  • Supporting students to develop practical skills, confidence, and artistic expression
  • Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Art and Design qualifications
  • Assessing student progress and providing effective feedback

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Suitable teaching experience
