Smart Teachers are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated EAL Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in East London. This role would suit an experienced EAL Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, bilingual educator, graduate, or someone with a strong interest in supporting young people from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of EAL TA you will:

• Supporting students with English as an Additional Language (EAL) across the school
• Providing classroom support to help students access lessons and learning materials
• Working with teachers to adapt resources and encourage student progress
• Supporting students’ communication, confidence and language development
• Building positive relationships with students and staff

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Suitable EAL experience
