We are looking for an inspiring and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Newham, London. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator, whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
About the role
As a KS1 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons for students in Year 1 and Year 2, ensuring that each child is challenged and supported in their learning.
- Differentiate Instruction: Tailor lessons to meet the diverse needs of students, using a variety of teaching strategies to ensure all pupils, including those with special educational needs, make good progress.
- Assess and Track Progress: Regularly assess student work, providing constructive feedback and using data to inform your teaching and support student development.
- Foster a Positive Classroom Environment: Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom where all students feel valued, safe, and motivated to learn.
- Work Collaboratively: Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance the learning experience and contribute to the wider school community.
- Engage in Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including a structured ECT induction program (if applicable), to continually enhance your teaching practice.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of KS1 Primary Teacher you will:
- Passion for Teaching: A genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and a commitment to their educational and personal development

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- At least 4 years' school based experience
