Smart Teachers are working in partnership with a high-performing secondary academy in North London to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Chemistry Academic Mentor.
About the role
The successful candidate will:

Provide targeted academic support in Chemistry to students across KS3–KS5.

Work closely with the Science department to support learning both in and outside the classroom.

Deliver small group and one-to-one intervention sessions to help raise attainment.

Support students preparing for GCSE and A-level examinations.

Assist teachers with classroom learning and practical science activities where required

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Chemistry Academic Mentor you will:
- Holds a degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject
- Has a passion for science and supporting young people academically.
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is organised, proactive, and able to build positive relationships with students.
- Is interested in gaining valuable experience within a school environment.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable teaching experience
