Maths Teacher

Smart Teachers are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Central London to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a maternity cover position starting in April or May 2026.

About the role

The successful candidate will:

• Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with the possibility of KS5 depending on experience).

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that support strong student progress.

• Work collaboratively within the Mathematics department to plan and deliver the curriculum.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where required.

• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Maths Teacher you will:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students
• Is organised, reflective, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
