Smart Teachers are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Central London to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a maternity cover position starting in April or May 2026.
About the role
The successful candidate will:

Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with the possibility of KS5 depending on experience).

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that support strong student progress.

Work collaboratively within the Mathematics department to plan and deliver the curriculum.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where required.

Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Maths Teacher you will:
- Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students
- Is organised, reflective, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
