We are seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Ealing on a full-time, permanent basis from January 2026.

As the Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, play-based learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. You will create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that supports children’s academic, social, and emotional development, while helping them transition confidently into school life.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Reception Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in EYFS, ideally in Reception
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Commitment to a full-time, permanent role from January 2026
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- QTS
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Right to work in the UK
Key responsibilities
As Reception Teacher you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, care, and wellbeing
- Working closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents
- Planning and delivering engaging EYFS lessons and learning activities
- Observing, assessing, and tracking children’s progress in line with EYFS requirements
