About the role

A mainstream primary school in Tower Hamlets are looking for a Teaching assistant with strong behaviour management skills to join them on a full time basis from after the October half term break.

This is a full time role, working across all classrooms in KS2, therefore you should be adaptable and confident to work with different year groups.

You will-

- Be able to work off your own initiative, supporting where needed throughout the day

- Be comfortable working with pupils with special education needs (SEN) both 1-2-1 and in small groups

- Be able to adapt to different environments quickly

- Have a strong passion for working in education

- Have a strong level of behaviour management skills

The school is a two form entry mainstream primary school which was rated 'Good' in their last Ofsted report.

The school provide a supportive and friendly working environment

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant - Tower Hamlets you will:

  • Have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one
  • Have experience working with KS2 aged pupils
  • Be confident supporting SEN in the school

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Prior experience working with KS2 children in a education setting
