About the role
Youth Learning Mentor needed for a 1:1/small group intervention role in Streatham, working with primary and secondary aged pupils.
Are you interested in supporting young people who are out of mainstream school? About the school
The school deals with pupils that are of a vulnerable and sometimes challenging nature. You will work closely with your colleagues to create action plans for pupils across primary and secondary
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Youth Worker you will:
- Work 8:45 – 16:00 daily
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate with families, carers and a multidisciplinary team of teaching staff and educational psychologists
- Working knowledge of meeting the emotional, social, and mental health of young people
- Desire to take a supporting role in a challenging setting
