Dance Teacher (with PE and General Cover) – Maternity Cover

About the role
We are seeking a passionate and talented Dance Teacher to join our vibrant Performing Arts department on a maternity cover contract starting January 2026. The role offers an exciting opportunity to teach GCSE Dance and contribute to a dynamic and creative curriculum.
While the Dance element of the timetable is part-time, the position can be made full-time with additional PE and General Cover responsibilities across the school.
The Role

Teach engaging and inspiring GCSE Dance lessons (no KS5 required).

Deliver high-quality PE lessons and general subject cover when needed.

Contribute to extracurricular dance and performance opportunities.

Work collaboratively within a supportive and energetic department.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Dance Teacher you will:
- Have experience teaching KS4 Dance.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- A QTS
