A well-established and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking an experienced Year 5 Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

Year 5 Teacher – Part-Time (Thursday & Friday)
2 Days per Week | Full Academic Year
Location: Ealing
Start Date: September 2026
You will share responsibility for a Year 5 class, teaching every Thursday and Friday. Working closely with your job-share partner and the wider Key Stage 2 team, you will deliver engaging lessons, assess pupil progress, and ensure continuity of learning throughout the week.
The successful candidate will be confident teaching Upper Key Stage 2 and able to maintain high expectations for behaviour, attainment, and pupil engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons for a Year 5 class every Thursday and Friday.
- Work collaboratively with your job-share partner to ensure continuity of learning, assessment, and classroom routines throughout the week.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring every pupil is supported and challenged appropriately.
- Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, using assessment data to inform future planning.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment that promotes excellent behaviour and a love of learning.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, contributing to the wider life of the school.
- Attend staff meetings, parents' evenings, and other professional commitments relevant to your contracted working days.
- Work closely with the Key Stage 2 team to share planning, resources, and best practice.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Primary Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Strong knowledge of the Upper KS2 curriculum
- Excellent behaviour management and classroom practice
- Ability to work collaboratively within a job-share arrangement
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- QTS
