About the role
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will teach across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 depending on your experience and preferences. You may be providing planned teacher cover, PPA cover, sickness cover, or stepping into longer-term class teacher roles.
Whether you're in a school for one day or one academic year, you'll play an important role in delivering engaging lessons, maintaining continuity of learning, and creating a positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and year groups
- Follow school planning or prepare engaging lessons where required
- Establish positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Maintain excellent classroom and behaviour management
- Assess learning and provide feedback when appropriate
- Uphold each school's policies and safeguarding procedures

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Supply Primary Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous teaching experience within UK primary schools
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Excellent behaviour management and organisational skills
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
