Smart Teachers are recruiting for an experienced and passionate SENCO to join a high-performing secondary school in North London.

The successful candidate will lead on the strategic development of SEND provision across the school, ensuring pupils with special educational needs and disabilities receive high-quality support and are able to achieve their full potential

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SENCO you will:

• Leading and developing the school’s SEND strategy and provision
• Overseeing the identification, assessment, and support of pupils with additional needs
• Managing and reviewing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
• Working closely with teaching staff to ensure effective differentiation and inclusive classroom practice
• Supporting staff with advice, training, and guidance around SEND strategies

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Suitable SENCO experience
