A thriving mainstream primary school in Romford is seeking enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to join its team from September 2026.

About the role

As a Supply Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, depending on your experience and the school's requirements. Opportunities are available for both short-term daily cover and longer-term teaching assignments, making this an ideal role for teachers seeking flexibility or a more consistent placement.

You will quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff, ensuring continuity of learning while maintaining high expectations within the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum
• Teach across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 as required
• Follow school planning or prepare lessons for long-term placements
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
• Maintain excellent behaviour management and high expectations
• Assess pupil progress and provide feedback where appropriate
• Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Supply Teacher you will:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience teaching within UK primary schools
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• QTS
• Years of previous experience
