About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Science teacher or current middle leader with a proven track record of raising attainment and driving excellence. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across the Science faculty, ensuring outstanding teaching and learning and exceptional outcomes for students.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Head of Science you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have substantial experience teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach at Key Stage 5 desirable
- Demonstrate successful leadership experience within a Science department
- Physics specialism (ideally)
- Be committed to securing the highest standards of achievement for all students
- Possess excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable leadership experience
