Smart Teachers is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a high-achieving and oversubscribed secondary school for an ambitious and talented Teacher of Design & Technology to join their successful department.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent classroom practitioner who is passionate about Design & Technology and committed to inspiring the next generation of creative thinkers, innovators and problem-solvers. The successful candidate will teach across KS4 and KS5, with a preference for a Textiles specialism, while also demonstrating flexibility to contribute to a broader Design & Technology curriculum at KS3 and KS4, which may include some Food Technology lessons.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of DT Teacher you will:
- Be a qualified teacher with experience teaching Design & Technology at KS4 and KS5.
- Have a specialism in Textiles (preferred).
- Be flexible in delivering a range of Design & Technology subjects across KS3 and KS4.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom practice and strong subject knowledge.
- Have a solutions-focused mindset and a commitment to collaborative working.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
