Science Academic Mentor

Smart Teachers are currently working with a successful secondary school in East London who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Academic Mentor to join their team from September 2026

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Science Academic Mentor you will:

• A strong academic background in Science (degree desirable)
• A passion for supporting young people and education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to motivate and inspire students
• Experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential)

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Suitable academic mentor experience
