Smart Teachers are currently working with a highly regarded independent school in North London who are seeking an experienced and dedicated Temporary SENCO to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified SEN professional with strong leadership experience to provide effective SEND support and guidance across the school. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring pupils with additional needs receive high-quality provision and appropriate support to help them achieve their full potential.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SENCO you will:
- Lead and coordinate the school’s SEND provision
- Oversee the identification, assessment, and support of pupils with additional needs
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop effective SEND strategies
- Manage and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support plans
- Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies
- Ensure compliance with SEND legislation and best practice guidance
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable SENDCO experience
