A high-performing and ambitious secondary academy in Essex is seeking to appoint a talented and committed English & Media Teacher to join a successful and forward-thinking English department.
About the role
- Teach English Language and Literature across KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote progress and achievement
- Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the department
- Support students of all abilities, including high attainers and those requiring additional support

Requirements
To be considered for the role of English and Media Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in English (Media Studies experience desirable)
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding classroom practice
- Commitment to raising attainment and closing achievement gaps
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable teaching experience
