EYFS Teacher

A welcoming two-form entry primary school in Hounslow is seeking a qualified EYFS Teacher to join their nursery team on a full-time, long-term basis.

About the role

You will lead the nursery class, delivering the EYFS curriculum through engaging, play-based, and structured learning experiences. You will support children’s development across all areas – personal, social, emotional, and academic – while fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Collaboration with support staff and the leadership team will be central to ensuring high-quality provision.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering high-quality EYFS lessons and activities

• Observing, assessing, and tracking children’s development and progress

• Creating a nurturing, safe, and well-organised learning environment

• Supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional development

• Working closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents

• Contributing to the wider life of the school and nursery provision

Requirements

To be considered for the role of EYFS Teacher you will:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in EYFS or nursery settings
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Caring, patient, and proactive approach

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Previous years of experience
• Right to work in the UK
• DBS on the update service
