As a PPA Teacher, you will provide cover across various year groups to allow class teachers their Planning, Preparation and Assessment time. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining strong classroom management, and ensuring continuity of learning across the school. Adaptability and strong organisational skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities

Delivering engaging and structured lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2

Ensuring pupils remain focused and make progress during PPA cover

Managing classroom behaviour effectively

Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff

Providing feedback to class teachers on pupil progress and learning

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Primary PPA Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)
- Previous primary teaching experience
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Flexibility and confidence teaching across different year groups
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- QTS
- DBS on the update service
