We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Harrow on a full-time, long-term basis.
About the role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will help deliver engaging, play-based learning activities, support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, and ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

Supporting children’s learning through play-based and structured activities

Working with individual pupils and small groups

Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation

Supporting observations, assessments, and record keeping

Maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment

Requirements
To be considered for the role of EYFS Teaching Assistant you will:
- Previous experience working in an EYFS or primary school setting
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework (desirable)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- DBS on the update service
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous school-based experience in the UK
